Welcome to the web site of the Chelmsford Band, a volunteer adult band based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

The Chelmsford Band, now in its 38th year, includes a 50-member symphonic concert band and a 17-member jazz ensemble. The concert band has performed 2 years in a row at the prestigious Boston Festival of Bands at Faneuil Hall, and was also selected to perform at Boston's Hatch Shell in 2006. The jazz ensemble, now in its 12th year, has performed at town functions, and for the summer concert series in Chelmsford and other towns, including York Beach, Maine.

Chelmsford, MA Performances by the Chelmsford Community Band and the CCB Jazz Ensemble This concert will feature the world premier of Eagle's Rest, a commissioned piece by maestro Paul Berler, dedicated to the memory of Chelmsford resident Kathleen Whittier. The band rehearses regularly on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 in the Town Offices gym in Chelmsford, which is located at the rear of 50 Billerica Rd. (Rt. 129) We are always looking for new members, so if you are looking for a group to join, please stop by!

We present about a dozen performances throughout the year, including our Summer Concert Series on the Common, Tuesday evenings through the months of July and August. We also do a holiday concert, a winter concert and a spring pops concert.
