Boston Festival of Bands
The Chelmsford Community Band will be participating in the
2009 Boston Festival of Bands, which is held in Faneuil Hall
on Saturday, June 6 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
We'll be the first band, playing at 11:00, and you should
plan to make a day of it and listen to as many of the other bands as
possible.
Admission is free, although a donation is requested to help defray
expenses.

This is a great way to show your support for the band and to keep up to date
with the latest news and concert dates. You can even upload photos if you've
taken pictures of the band.

The Chelmsford Community Band always welcomes new members,
no matter what instrument you play.
But we currently have an immediate need for the following instruments.

Old Town Hall Closed
As of January 1, 2009, and for the foreseeable future
(at least through April 1, 2009), the Old Town Hall has been
closed in order to save money.
The CCB Tuesday night rehearsals have been moved to the gym at the
Town Offices, located at the rear of the building at 50 Billerica Rd
(Rt. 129).
Directions
Thanks to the generosity of the Central Baptist Church
(diagonally across the common from the Old Town Hall),
the Jazz Ensemble has been offered space for its first-Wednesday rehearsals.
There's another group using the hall until 7:30, so we'll probably have to
start a bit late.
