Welcome to the web site of the Chelmsford Band,
a volunteer adult band based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
The Chelmsford Band, now in its 38th year, includes a 50-member symphonic
concert band and a 17-member jazz ensemble.
The concert band has performed 2 years in a row at the prestigious Boston
Festival of Bands at Faneuil Hall, and was also selected to perform at
Boston's Hatch Shell in 2006.
The jazz ensemble, now in its 12th year, has performed at town functions,
and for the summer concert series in Chelmsford and other towns, including
York Beach, Maine.

The Chelmsford Band kicks off their 38th season with a concert
on the common on July 4th at 7 p.m.
This concert is sponsored by Trinity EMS.
We will also be participating in Chelmsford’s 4th of July Parade
— which occurs on July 5 this year —
playing some great marches while we ride along the parade route.
The band will also perform on the Chelmsford common at 7:00 PM on

The July 13 and August 3 concerts will feature the Chelmsford Band
Jazz Ensemble playing all your favorite swing and big band tunes.
On Saturday, July 31st, the jazz ensemble will be performing in the
pavilion on Short Sands Beach in
York Beach, ME.

The band rehearses regularly on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 in the
Town Offices gym
in Chelmsford, which is located at the rear of 50 Billerica Rd.

We are always looking for new members, so if you are looking for
a group to join, please stop by!
We present about a dozen performances throughout the year,
including our Summer Concert Series on the Common,
Tuesday evenings through the months of July and August.
We also do a holiday concert, a winter concert and a spring pops concert.
